Founder of REIKI WORKS is Robert Kramps. Robert practices
Reiki since 2006 and is a Reiki Master in the Usui system of Reiki.
"I was originally trained as a tax lawyer and for more than 10 years I worked for international consultancy firms and dutch Government. However, I was not happy with the life I lived. Somehow I could not express my uniqueness in my work. Something I really longed to be able to do.
As long as I can remember I have been fascinated by the interaction between people and by finding ways to live and work together respectfully and joyfully; both in relation to each other as in relation to the earth.
Step by step I found out that the origin of this desire was based on my own questions and uncertainties about how to interact with other people and in having the courage to follow my heart in the work that I wanted to do. In search of ways to deal with this I learned about mediation, systemic work and non-violent communication. And although this gave me many insights I came to understand that to really bring this way of living into the world I needed to connect deeply with my inner self and learn to listen to my heart.
This desire brought me to Reiki in 2006. Practicing Reiki has enriched my life in many ways. I got more and more in touch with my feelings, became more at ease and grounded in my daily life and I noticed that Reiki started to heal trauma’s I hadn’t dealt with. My enthusiasm about Reiki grew and in 2011 I decided to become a Reiki Master to be able to share this beautiful gift with others. This started a period of deep change and personal growth and in 2015 I was initiated as a Reiki Master.
I love and appreciate the simplicity of the practice of Reiki and feel very thankful for the ongoing growth and development that I experience.
Today I enjoy giving Reiki treatments and classes and I am executive director of MobiUs Foundation. MobiUs helps to grow people and initiatives working on at societal development and care for the earth (www.mobiusfoundation.nl). In this I combine my passion to create regenerative ways of living and working and support people in the accompanying development process."
